Rosewood Residence is a licensed community care home for seniors located 15 minutes west of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island in the picturesque village of Hunter River. Our residents enjoy comfort and privacy with the peace of mind that comes with knowing that assistance is there when needed. We are conveniently located next to the Central Queens Family Health Centre and within a short walk to the pharmacy, dental clinic, bank, post office, convenience store, library, theatre, and churches. We are situated on over 5 acres next to the Confederation Trail and across from the Dr. Kent G. Ellis Memorial Park.

Our History: We are one of PEI’s most established and respected community care homes. The original house was built in 1918. In the 1980s, there were two major expansions. In 1998, Rosewood Residence was purchased by the Jeff Weeks, Lori Weeks, and Gwen (Weeks) MacDonald from Fredericton, PEI. They continue to operate the home along with Manager, Kendra Warren.

Our Services

We offer a variety of services, tailored to your needs and provided by caring staff. We take pride in our professional yet homelike atmosphere. The staff at Rosewood Residence care about our residents and are happy to assist you with your needs. Our services include caring staff on duty 24 hours/day, assistance with personal care, medication administration, delicious and nutritious home cooked meals and snacks, an individualized activities program, and pastoral care.
